Five killed in Peshawar landmine blasts
SADDA: Five people were killed and six injured in two incidents whereby two vehicles drove over landmines on Sunday, political authorities and tribal sources told Daily Times. A pickup truck bound for Sadda drove over a landmine near Laddah in central Kurram, injuring six people. The vehicle driver Abdur Rauf succumbed to his injuries on his way to hospital. The injured were identified as Akhunzada Abdul Hanan, Malik Sadeen Khan, Taus Khan, Ahmar Khan and Munir Khan. In a separate incident, a car drove over a landmine near Seenzala while travelling to the Shoorko area from Parachinar. The blast killed four passengers and injured one. So far no one has claimed responsibility for the attacks. staff report
